Blooming Butterflies opens
Como Park Zoo and Marjorie McNeely Conservatory
Blooming Butterflies is a seasonal, free-standing butterfly exhibit resembling a caterpillar. The Gothic arch style screened structure will encompass approximately 3,000 square feet of enclosed butterfly ‘garden’ space showcasing a colorful variety of tropical annual and perennial flowering nectar plants to sustain hundreds of butterflies. MELSA Summer Reading Kick-off
Como Park Zoo and Marjorie McNeely Conservatory
Metropolitan Library Service Agency (MELSA) kicks off the metro-wide summer reading season at Como Zoo! This event features Bill the Juggler, Dazzling Dave Yo-Yo Master, craft projects and Radio Disney. Free copies of the book “Read Anything Good Lately” will be given to the first 1,000 kids who stop by the MELSA information tent.
